The Alpha® Vextra™ flat diamond grinding disc is engineered for grinding steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals where spark mitigation matters — including explosive (Ex) zones. Its sandwich construction with rubber damping makes the disc light, reduces vibration and noise, and minimizes operator fatigue. Optimized diamond grit and layer arrangement deliver long life and consistent performance — users typically report 50–60× the life of conventional abrasives. How to Use

Confirm the disc diameter and arbor match your grinder — this VDD4535 is 4-1/2" with a 7/8" arbor.
Mount on a high-speed angle grinder, sander or polisher using the tool's original flange and lock nut (7/8" arbor models) or thread directly onto the spindle (5/8"-11 zinc-hub models).
Verify grinder no-load RPM does not exceed the disc Max RPM (13,200 RPM for 4-1/2", 12,200 RPM for 5", 8,400 RPM for 7").
Start with #35 grit for aggressive stock removal (this listing), #50 for general purpose, #80 for finer finish work.
Run dry, or feed water at the disc face to keep dust down — the Vextra works wet.
