Alpha® Twistouch™ System — Twist-Lock Backer & Double Magic for Hand Polishing
The Alpha® Twistouch™ System is a safe, long-lasting hand-polishing platform built around a quick “twist and lock” adapter. It fits most polishers with a 5/8"-11 spindle and center water-feed, and accepts hook-and-loop backed accessories — Twistouch Turbo, Ceramica wheels and any standard hook-&-loop polishing disc. The system is offered in two backer sizes (3" and 4") plus a Double Magic top layer that lets you change worn discs in seconds. The Backer/Magic Set bundles one 4" Backer Pad with one 4" Double Magic for a complete starter assembly.

- Thread the Twistouch Backer Pad onto your 5/8"-11 polisher spindle and hand-tighten.
- Press a Twistouch Double Magic disc onto the backer face — the twist-and-lock design seats the disc securely.
- Apply your hook-and-loop polishing pad (Twistouch Turbo, Ceramica or compatible) onto the Double Magic surface.
- Confirm no-load RPM does not exceed 4,000 RPM.
- Run wet with center water-feed for stone polishing; dry running is acceptable for fast dressing only.
- Use light, even pressure and keep the pad moving along the work.
- To change pads, simply peel and replace the hook-&-loop disc; replace the Double Magic when its fibers are worn flat.

What is the Twistouch System for?
It is the backer / interface layer for Alpha’s hand-polishing line. The Backer Pad threads onto your polisher; the Double Magic locks onto the backer; and your hook-&-loop polishing pad (Twistouch Turbo, Ceramica, etc.) sticks to the Double Magic.
What is the difference between the Backer Pad and the Double Magic?
The Backer Pad (TW3BRG / TW4BRG) threads onto the polisher spindle. The Double Magic (TW3DBM / TW4DBM) is the hook-&-loop interface disc that snaps onto the backer and holds your polishing pad.
What is in the TW4BDK Backer/Magic Set?
One 4" Twistouch Backer Pad plus one 4" Twistouch Double Magic — everything needed to start polishing once you add a hook-&-loop pad.
Will it fit my polisher?
Any polisher with a 5/8"-11 spindle and center water-feed is compatible. This covers most popular wet polishers used in the stone trade.
What is the max safe RPM?

Can I use Ceramica or Twincur GEM-V pads on the Twistouch Backer?
Yes — any standard hook-&-loop backed pad will adhere to the Double Magic layer.
Wet or dry?
Run wet for stone polishing — the spindle is designed for center water-feed. Dry operation is acceptable for short dressing passes only.
How do I replace a worn Double Magic?
Peel the Double Magic off the Backer Pad and press a new one in its place. Backer pads typically outlast multiple Double Magic discs.
