- Position the lifter pad squarely against the block face.
- Engage the vacuum pump and watch the gauge reach safe range.
- Confirm the alarm is silent and seal pressure is steady.
- Lift slowly with crane or excavator under operator control.
- Lower the block, release vacuum, and remove the pad.
- Wear hard hat, gloves, and steel-toe boots throughout.
Quarry blocks of granite, marble, limestone, sandstone, and similar dimensional stone with reasonably flat sealing faces.
