AKEMI® Darkener Plus is a ready-to-use, solvent-based impregnation containing reactive modified siloxanes. Absorbed into the stone by capillary action, it reacts to form a polysiloxane that deepens and enriches the natural colour and structure of fine-ground and polished stone while leaving a water- and dirt-resistant impregnation behind. It does not form a film on the surface, so the polish stays intact and the stone continues to breathe. Its longer working time makes it well suited to larger surfaces, and it can be tinted with AKEMI® Stone Ink to intensify or change the stone’s colour.
