Alpha Professional Tools Turboshine Dual Adapter 3" Backer Pad (DAS35/8PD)
The Alpha® Turboshine Dual Adapter is a 3" (76 mm) backer pad with a 5/8"-11 thread, engineered as the drive interface for the Turboshine polishing system. Its newly designed Dual Adapter System dramatically reduces vibration during operation and lets the operator switch between rigid Turboshine discs and Alpha® Buff pads on the same drive, improving user convenience and reducing downtime between grits on natural and engineered stone countertops.

- Confirm the polisher spindle is 5/8"-11 and unplugged or with battery removed before mounting.
- Thread the DAS35/8PD adapter onto the polisher spindle and tighten by hand until fully seated.
- Press the desired Turboshine 3" rigid disc or Alpha® Buff pad onto the dual adapter face.
- Operate at or below 6,000 RPM; use wet for resin-bond rigid discs per Alpha® guidelines.
- Inspect the adapter face for wear before each shift; replace if the dual interface is glazed, torn, or out of round.
