Alpha® Advantage Resin Discs for Granite
Alpha® Advantage Resin Discs for Granite are specifically designed for optimum polishing results on granite floors. These resin discs work extremely well on even the most difficult granite floors and provide the best foundation to achieve the high degree of polish that is most desirable. The discs utilize a thicker, needle-shaped pattern than marble discs and require the addition of 60 lbs of weight to the AFP-300 for best results. They are directional to promote enhanced water flow through the contact area to remove slurry.

- Mount disc on a 3-1/2" hook-and-loop backer pad attached to the Alpha® AFP-300 floor polisher.
- Add the recommended 60 lbs of weight to the AFP-300 for granite work.
- Begin with #300 grit, working the surface in overlapping passes with a steady water feed.
- Progress sequentially through #500, #1000, #2000, and #3000, fully removing scratches from the previous grit at each step.
- Keep the disc flat against the floor; the directional pattern enhances water flow and slurry evacuation.
- Rinse and inspect the surface between grits; allow to dry before final inspection.
